Vehicle & Parts Super Centre

SWM have long had a reputation for paying top prices for MOT failures, scrap cars and scrap metal and can now offer an extensive range of new and used car parts to meet the current economic and environmental needs without costing the earth!

Investment totaling three quarters of a million pounds has resulted in the creation of a new Super Centre for car parts which is located in Bideford (next to Atlantic Village) and ensures the company is seen as the premier recycled car parts specialist in the South West. This new upgraded facility includes the erection of state-of-the-art racking to house over 300 cars, which is space saving, serves to protect the stock and complements the company’s robust Health and Safety objectives. Shelving for car parts and separate storage for tyres has been added together with a new IT platform allowing staff the ability to identify and source car parts quickly and efficiently.

Investment has not just been restricted to infrastructure, it also includes investment in staff, a new car parts manager has been appointed, whilst experienced and competent staff have been deployed from other areas of the business. This provides a blend of highly knowledgeable and experienced staff who are on hand to help and assist customers face-to-face, over the telephone or online.

New and used car parts are available for sales off the shelf covering most makes and models, with new stock arriving daily; customers can be assured that what they get is the right part, at the right price, at the right time. Salvage vehicles are also available and everything comes with the option of collection or delivery by a next day delivery service.

Director Shawn Akers said “We wanted to show that by investing in our staff and our infrastructure we are committed to ensuring we provide excellent car parts service at a price that is competitive, and which meets and exceeds our customer expectations. To support this initiative we are continuing with a training development programme for our staff together with a sourcing strategy that seeks to ensure we have what the customer wants. This is being supported by a radio and press advertising campaign. We have been delighted and over whelmed by the level of uptake and positive feedback received so far.”
