An 'Unbreakable' thank you

What a weekend!

Over 800 Unbreakables descended upon North Molton to test their mettle against our 35 piece obstacle course, supported by 24 Commando. They met and conquered mud, fire, ice and swamps and, of course, the "hill heartbreakers".

Thanks to business supporters such as yourselves, our headline sponsor Wollen, our wonderful volunteers, North Molton sports centre, generous landowners and of course the Unbreakables, Mission Unbreakable 2019 was another amazing experience, so massive thanks again for your kind support.

Monies raised as of today currently stands at a very promising £53,000 - with certainly more monies to come. Please visit our North Devon Hospice facebook page to see pics and a flavour of the Big Day.

Apart from the Unbreakables who, quite rightly, were up for the sheer challenge, we are aware of many Unbreakable whose families have received first-hand experience of our dedicated nurses and completing the course in memory of a loved one; it is this mix of Unbreakables that make this such a special fundraising event.

In return for your generous donation of the skip once again, I am pleased that we were able to provide the following:

- sponsorship of an Obstacle, with your company sign alongside, with your flags

-opportunity for 1 or 2 branded company volunteers at the obstacle, with photo opportunities for you - though Charlene and family you were elsewhere; let me echo Kate's thanks for your fab help on the day ... including young Tyler!

-your company name on the "honour board" of Supporters at Sports Centre HQ on the day, in full view of spectators, and in the changing rooms, to be seen by all the Unbreakables

-your company name, highlighting your support, on our Mission Unbreakable webpage.

-opportunity for you to support this event and North Devon Hospice on your website , social media channels.

By again supporting Mission Unbreakable, SWM has helped to underwrite our event costs, with the result that sponsorship raised by Unbreakable will go directly towards helping local people affected by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

This is massively beneficial to the patients and families we support, and makes a real difference to the loves of many in North Devon/ Cornwall borders.
