Four enhance their skills via training

Four employees at SWM have achieved qualifications recognising their team leading and customer service skills.

Kerry Agnew and Nathan Gatting both attained NVQ level 2 Customer Service, while Orry Winchcombe and Ryan Pearcy achieved NVQ Level 2 Team Leading.

Orry said "I really enjoyed the training and I am looking forward to opportunities to take up more training in future. It was hard work but worthwhile."

The traing was provided by Ubiquitous Concepts and is the beginning of a campaign by SWM to train and develop its entire workforce over a two year period.

"We are proud of the high standards reached by our colleagues", said Martin Mogford, SWM Operations Director. "Training is not only an essential part of their personal development but is also good for organisational performance, in terms of creativity, innovation, quality and most importantly customer satisfaction.

SWM's philosophy is to support continuous personal development so staff will experience greater job satisfaction.
