Working in partnership with The North Devon Show

📷

We are very proud to once again not only attend, but also to be the waste services contractor for the North Devon Show in August this year. This year’s show seemed busier than ever and even stayed dry for most of the day! The great success of the event was due to the extraordinary work carried out behind the scenes by the show organisers whom we were thrilled to aid.

The show was a fantastic opportunity to provide information and promote waste and recycling services in North Devon. This year’s hot topic in the SWM tent was the capabilities of the state of the art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) recently installed in our Transfer Station in South Molton. The event allowed members of the local community, visitors to the area, regional and national businesses to understand more about the machine, the way it operates and how it is aiding SWM & Waste Recycling to lead the way in providing ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL services in the region.

As well as the MFR, Skip bags; a great alternative for smaller or awkward spaces and a more economical option than solid skips were on display. The skip bags come in three sizes and can hold up to 1.5 Tonnes of waste, ideal for plasterboard, garden or other construction waste.

The SWM tent was also a hub for discussion of the options we offer to the farming community in disposing safely, cost effectively and compliantly of farm plastic, as well as discounts, offers and additional services available such as disposal of farm scrap. We can help you dispose of many sorts of farm plastic including:

Silage Sheeting & Wrap

Mushroom Film

Feedbags

Mulch Film & Crop Cover

Seed Trays

Polytunnel

Compost bags

A big thank you goes to The North Devon Show committee for choosing SWM & Waste Recycling Ltd as the waste services provider this year for the third year running and look forward to opportunities to contribute to the success of the show as it continues to grown in the future.
